At the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) national conference and annual gala dinner held in Darling Harbour, Capital Insight received the National Project Management Award in the ‘Construction/Engineering’ category. The AIPM award recognises our project management of the very successful Westmead Institute for Medical Research project.

This honour follows the overall NSW Project Management ‘Project of the Year’ Award that Capital Insight received in September 2016. Please follow this link to read more about that award and the WMI project.

At the Conference, Capital Insight was subsequently awarded a high distinction and second place in the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM) 2016 Awards. The WMI project was narrowly beaten by the massive US Studio City Casino in Macau, with third place going to a US$1.67 billion Ultrasupercritical coal-fired Power Plant in Malaysia (see photos below).

The WMI project showcased the expertise and integration of Capital Insight’s advisory and project management services, which included preparing the business case and managing the planning, approvals, design, procurement, construction, building handover, FFE, operational commissioning and relocations.
