Capital Insight is pleased to continue our long-standing delivery of services for the University of Queensland, with our engagement to provide Superintendent and Project Management support services for the Lake Renewal and Amphitheatre Enhancement Project.

The iconic UQ lake and amphitheatre area is being transformed into a self-sustaining ecosystem that offers habitat for wildlife, as well as expanding the opportunities for people to enjoy the area.

The main lake remediation works are essential to maintaining the health of the lake and surrounding areas, particularly addressing algal blooms. In addition to the lake renewal works, the project includes the construction of an amphitheatre to both enhance the use of the area and address safety issues with lake overflow and mudslides in major rain events.
