Capital Insight brings innovative and responsive solutions as we structure the design and implementation methodology to address the particular requirements of the project and stakeholders.

We bring extensive technical knowledge to our design management roles, from understanding the functional requirements, through concept and detailed design, to managing preparation of final design documents. We seek to maximise the contributions of participants in the design process including users, subject experts, stakeholders, design and technical consultants. Review milestones are incorporated throughout, to ensure the design delivers the necessary functionality, quality in design, value for money, safety and buildability.

Our procurement team guides clients through decision making processes to achieve the best procurement and contract outcomes for your project. On an individual project basis, we determine with our clients an appropriate balance between value for money, cash flow, timeliness, retained and transferred risk, quality of design and construction. We then structure the various team member’s scope of services and the contract formulation to suit.

  • Procurement Strategy

    We are experts in developing services and asset procurement strategies that reflect a client’s desired risk allocation and alignment to cost, quality and program objectives, utilising alternative forms of control. We are requested to contribute to industry reviews of procurement contracts.

  • Design Management

    Effective engagement with stakeholders and the design team, in-house technical knowledge and attention to detail enable Capital Insight to deliver high quality design outcomes. Our team ensures defined functionality, change goals, ESD, ICT, safe design, value engineering and affordability are integral to the design.

  • Procurement Management

    In our roles as Program Director, Project Director or Project Manager, we routinely manage the tendering and contracting for planning, design and implementation phases of projects. Our interactive and transparent approach maximises the opportunity for a successful relationship for the duration of a contract utilising various forms of contract.

  • Transaction Management

    We have trusted experience in managing asset related transactions – PPP and asset management. Typical activities include defining risk allocation and contract outcomes, developing output specifications, probity advice, guiding contract development, and coordinating technical, legal and commercial advisors.

  • Commercial Negotiations

    Our team advise and lead clients through complex negotiation processes inclusive of the negotiation strategy, market testing, ongoing commercial assessment, contract execution or renewal and commercial close.
