Paediatric Emergency demand is growing rapidly in several areas of Melbourne and specific zones are now needed. Capital Insight has been working with Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) to plan five emergency department paediatric zones located at:

• Casey Hospital in Berwick
• Frankston Hospital
• Maroondah Hospital
• Northern Hospital in Epping
• University Hospital Geelong.

Capital Insight led the services planning, capital planning and investment planning phases, leading to a final business case and successfully funded project. The project has now transitioned to delivery, with the first sites progresing to more detailed design.
