The new Maryborough Hospital Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit opened recently.

Capital Insight project managed the Business Case, Concept and Schematic Design for upgrades to the Maryborough Hospital, which included refurbishment of the Emergency Department, Specialist Outpatients Department and the Hospital Main Entry, as well as installation of a CT machine.

The upgrades have increased service capacity, improved departmental functionalities and addressed building compliance issues within an historic building that has not been substantially improved for 40 years.

The work continues roles that Capital Insight has had in hospital projects across Queensland.

The delivery of the $15 million project was managed by Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
